He began spitting words that made all of his managers question his sanity.

With this new persona, he dropped his next project: “Slim Shady Ep”


This Ep would find its way into no other than the hands of Dr. Dre



And the rest?


History.


This story reminds me of how to become magnetic in your marketing.

Just how Shady pulled in the entire world with the power of something all of us have:


A personality.


The one you hide from the world.


No, don’t dye your hair blonde and drop a song named “I Don’t Give A F**K”


Instead, focus on actually being you in your marketing.


Be bold. Be real. And be raw.


It makes readers feel like they know you.


Which means they’ll be emotionally connected to your brand like a chain link.


(And yes, they’ll buy from you, more often)


This “realness” to your writing alone will make you stand out in a crowded market.
